What people usually ask
When exactly do I get my first commission?
When your referral signs up, they enter a 30-day free trial. After that, they get one more free month as the referral benefit. Your commission starts from their second paid month, and activates after 30 days of confirmed payment. That's roughly 90 days from first click to first payout. We do this to prevent trial abuse.
Is there a minimum number of referrals per month?
No. You can bring one client a year or fifty a month. Commission triggers on every successful conversion regardless of pace.
How long does cookie tracking last?
90 days. Client clicks your link, shops three competitors, comes back to Kolton a month later and signs up, you still get the commission.
What if the client switches from monthly to annual?
Commission tracks the actual monthly billed amount. A client on annual Growth pays €249/mo effectively, your commission is €99/mo. Lower than monthly, but the client also stays longer, so lifetime total goes up. The calculator above shows both.
How do the milestone rewards work (AirPods, MacBook, Tesla)?
AirPods require 5 paid referrals, MacBook requires 15. The Tesla requires 50 referrals each with at least 6 paid months — this ensures the economics work for both sides. At each milestone you choose between the device or the cash equivalent.
What if the client cancels?
Commission stops the month the client stops paying. No retroactive clawbacks. No "clawback" periods. Your money is yours.
How do payouts work?
Stripe Connect. At signup you connect your business IBAN or card, payouts happen automatically every month for the previous month, minus Stripe fees. No invoicing, no chasing, no negotiating.
Can I write about Kolton publicly or run ads?

What if more than one partner refers the same client?
The first link the client clicks (and cookies) is the one that earns. Other partners who later "show up" with the same client don't get double commission. Industry standard.
